Since its establishment in 2008, Résidis Group has become a key player in France’s private emergency social accommodation sector. Its business model is built on two complementary pillars: the management of physical accommodation facilities through a network of residences and the development of digital solutions to expand and coordinate housing capacity.
As at end of 2025, the Group operated 20 dedicated accommodation facilities under two brands: Résidis, which operates 5 residences classified as Résidences Hôtelières à Vocation Sociale (RHVS), primarily serving beneficiaries referred by Samusocial, and Logely, acquired in 2023, which manages 15 residences classified as Établissements Hôteliers à Vocation Sociale (EHVS). These facilities focus on welcoming, supporting and facilitating the social reintegration of individuals seeking permanent housing.
Résidis provides fully equipped, socially integrated accommodation facilities that promote social inclusion and support public housing policies. Acting as a key intermediary between the State, social service operators and vulnerable populations, the Group achieved a 94% satisfaction rate in 2025, reflecting the quality, strategic locations and integration of its residences within local communities.
The French emergency social accommodation market was estimated at €3 billion in 2024. It experienced sustained growth of approximately 9% per year between 2017 and 2022, followed by more moderate annual growth of 2–4% since then. By 2030, the market is expected to reach approximately €3.7 billion, reflecting a continued positive growth trajectory.
This growth is underpinned by structural drivers, including a shortage of social housing, rising economic vulnerability and migration, as well as statutory accommodation obligations. The sector is protected by financial, regulatory and relationship-driven barriers to entry, which limit market access for new entrants and strengthen the competitive positioning of established players.
The sector also benefits from substantial public-sector support through French government budget programmes 177 and 303, which were allocated a combined €3 billion in 2024. This funding provides greater visibility, supports revenue predictability and enables operators to scale up their activities in line with market demand.
