JL&P: Engineering and Architecture Group

Founded in 2017 and based in Floirac (33), JL&P is an engineering platform specializing in new mobility solutions, energy infrastructure deployment, water management, and environmental services. Offering support throughout the entire project lifecycle—from design to execution—the company positions itself as a one-stop shop for its clients by mastering a wide range of expertise. Its goal is to guide businesses toward a lower-carbon mobility model by promoting a more virtuous energy mix.

A Leader in the Design and Construction Support of Multi-Energy Mobility Infrastructure

JL&P Group offers turnkey solutions to create, modernize, or convert traditional service stations into multi-energy hubs, deploy all types of refueling/charging infrastructure for mobility, and promote the development of decarbonized transportation (Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (EVCI), Natural Gas for Vehicles (NGV), Hydrogen (H2), etc.).
Its expertise in regulations (notably ICPE¹) for both public installations (highways, roads, suburban areas, shopping centers) and heavy infrastructure (ports, airports, train stations, industries, logistics and transport platforms…) opens up numerous new markets. In recent years, the Group has also expanded its activities by offering water management engineering services (drinking, stormwater, wastewater, industrial, etc.) and environmental management, notably through the acquisition of the CIEL consultancy.

A Growing Need for Refueling / Charging Infrastructure

In Europe, internal combustion vehicles will be banned starting in 2035 to meet carbon emission reduction targets. In France, electric vehicles are expected to represent 40% of the national vehicle fleet by 2036.
To fully realize the ambition of decarbonizing transportation, a coordinated effort is still needed across all mobility sectors, especially road transport, which accounts for over 20% of greenhouse gas emissions in France.
Multiple technologies are required to fully decarbonize road transport, and the availability of multi-energy refueling/charging infrastructure is now crucial.
The rapid growth of the decarbonized vehicle market demands a massive rollout of refueling and charging points. Significant investments of €19 billion in France and €130 billion across Europe are planned by 2030 for decarbonized mobility infrastructure.

¹ Installations Classified for Environmental Protection (ICPE): ICPE regulations aim to manage industrial and agricultural risks to protect the environment and public health.
