 SWEN Capital Partners, through its impact-driven SWEN Blue Ocean strategy, is proud to support Auum, the inventor of a world-unique dry steam cleaning technology.

 

A cutting-edge, eco-friendly French technology

AUUM-S is a professional-grade machine capable of cleaning, disinfecting, and drying a glass in just a few seconds, using only 10 cl of water per cycle — 20 times less than hand washing — and without any chemicals. Compared to traditional solutions, it uses three times less water than a dishwasher and generates five times less CO₂ than a paper cup.

Designed, developed, and manufactured entirely in France (certified “Origine France Garantie”), the AUUM solution is marketed with an all-inclusive rental offer, which includes glass supply, maintenance, and installation — all for a total cost lower than existing disposable and washing solutions.

The environmental impact of this machine is significant, going far beyond the simple reduction of waste harmful to the environment and biodiversity.

We are thrilled to participate in this €15 million fundraising round alongside Starquest, Founders Future, Groupe SEB, and Blast Club. This funding will enable AUUM to expand across Europe, with the ambition of putting an end to the ecological absurdity of single-use containers — with a primary focus on businesses and collective consumption venues.

By investing in an Auum machine, we are choosing to move away from disposable cups in favor of a reusable, responsible, and sustainable solution. It’s a concrete commitment to the environment and another step forward in the ecological transition.
