SFP Group BV and SWEN Capital Partners invest 20M€ in a biomethane plant in the Netherlands
SFP Group BV and SWEN Capital Partners, through its impact fund dedicated to renewable gas, announce a joint acquisition of the biomethane plant in Westdorpe in the Netherlands and the establishment of a long-term partnership to jointly pursue investments in large scale biomethane projects across the Netherlands.
Paris – Westdorpe, March 25th, 2021. SFP Group BV, emerging independent large scale biomethane developer in the Netherlands, and SWIFT, the SWEN Impact Fund for Transition managed by SWEN Capital Partners, have announced a joint acquisition of the 2,200 nm3/h Aben Green Energy BV biomethane production plant in Westdorpe in the Netherlands. Necessary investments will be made to double its production capacity by 2023. This first project is made under the framework of a long-term partnership between SFP Group BV and SWIFT to jointly develop and investment in large scale biomethane projects across the Netherlands.
