At Change Now, our Managing Director, Olivier Raybaud, took the spotlight to unveil the expansion of SWEN Blue Ocean’s strategy.
The team will be building on the success of Blue Ocean, its first 170 million euros fund closed in March 2023, and expected to be fully invested by the end of 2024.
It will continue to harness the power of innovation to help solve the three critical threats to ocean health: overfishing, pollution, and climate change. With 14 investments already made, SWEN Blue Ocean’s strategy is already having an impact across sustainable aquaculture, biodiversity management, the circular plastics economy, marine renewable energy and the decarbonization of shipping. But we recognize there are still numerous challenges to overcome in our pursuit of ocean regeneration and we need to continue to raise our ambition. Will you join us on this journey?
