Diego APONTE-VARGAS

Head of Business Development & Managing Director – Mezzanine Debt Diego Aponte Vargas has over fifteen years of experience in asset management, with a strong focus on mezzanine debt and business development.

He began his career in 2010 at New Alpha Asset Management as a hedge fund analyst. A year later, he joined SWEN Capital Partners, an Analyst in 2011, then becoming Investment Director in 2014, and later Managing Director in 2020. Throughout his journey, he has played a key role in the company’s growth and strategic development. In 2019, he further strengthened his expertise by earning an Executive MBA from HEC Paris, enhancing his strategic vision and leadership skills.
